2018 has been a great year for TAG. It has seen the company go from strength to strength with both expansion and diversification of the business.
New Fork Truck Storage & Engineer Training Facility
This summer we expanded into an additional unit in Manchester. This new space is located just 5 minutes from our main depot on Trafford Park. This increases our storage capacity for our growing stock of forklifts available for short term hires and used forklift sales. This enable us to store forklifts of varied types and specification, all checked and ready to go. Having a larger and more varied range of fork lifts in stock ensures that we can provide our clients with the right equipment more efficiently.
The new unit will also enable us to have dedicated in-house engineer training facilities to keep our engineers fully equipped to serve our customers.
Diversification into Access Equipment
Following a strategic decision over a year ago the company has diversified to offer access platform hire. We have, for many years, partnered with JLG Access Equipment to supply and service this equipment so it is a natural progression for the business. Over the last year we have built up a hire fleet of scissor lifts, cherry pickers and vertical mast lifts and a loyal customer base in this market.
With the company now in a strong position to serve our customers even more efficiently and reach new customers we look forward to further success and growth in the coming year.
